Opening Your Heart

It’s crucial that you’re opening your heart to a significantly greater degree than hitherto. This is how you’ll raise yourself high above the level at which our society is being ruled and corrupted today.

Through that means, you’ll be helping to raise the collective consciousness of humanity sufficiently that the-powers-that-be who are currently in charge will become progressively disempowered by the increasingly loving and compassionate disposition of the populace; such that they will increasingly find themselves unable to corrupt, disempower, suppress, dumb-down, enfeeble, sicken, demoralise and debase humanity in order to preserve their power and control over humanity and rob humanity of our natural abundance in every facet of our lives.

Here is a collection of links and suggestions for what you can do to open your heart more, thereby raising your consciousness and vibration/frequency and your capacity to strengthen the positive aspects of the collective consciousness.

The Love Foundation’s Facebook pages Inspiring Unconditional Love and Loving Earth

The Love Foundation I believe The Love Foundation holds the key to inspiring people to open their hearts. Their mission is ‘to inspire people to love unconditionally’. The Love Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation based in Florida, U.S. I have been a U.K.-based board member of The Love Foundation since 2011. The Love Foundation Facebook page is a good go-to, day-to-day resource.

The ‘Love Begins With Me Film’ channel on YouTube has playlists of videos uplifting the heart energies. The videos are mainly my own interviews of people who have experienced the great value of love in their own heart, and others’ too.

To raise your consciousness through raising your ‘vibrations’, go to the ‘What’s Your Vibe?’ page of the Woodland Wellness website which belongs to a friend of mine, Keith Corbett, a holistic healer.

Three very important things for opening your heart

I would also ask you to do three very important things and hold them in your awareness as constantly as possible:

1. Be aware that there is a spiritual dimension to your life and you are directly connected, without anything in-between, to the prime source of all creation, whatever you call it. Feel a two-way bond of the deepest imaginable love. Love is the greatest power in creation.

2. Feel immense gratitude in your heart for everyone and everything that supports you, guides you, nourishes you, helps you, provides you with your environment (e.g. the road menders and street cleaners, among very many others) and provides for you in ways you can’t imagine and you’ll never hear about.

3. Develop the deepest possible love for the Earth, with whom you merged your spirit when you were born and from whom you gained the materials to make your body (food, water, air, etc) and who provides you with the environment in which you live and do the things you desire to do. Pledge always to reciprocate the love you receive from Mother Earth, protect and conserve her and avoid misusing her in all ways you can. Include the whole of Nature in this.

“A little while, and my longing shall gather dust and foam for another body.
A little while, a moment of rest upon the wind, and another woman shall bear me. ” Kahlil Gibran’s ‘The Prophet’

What else is involved in opening your heart?

It’s not just a figure of speech when we say, “I have such love in my heart”, it’s a literal thing; we do feel love in our heart, in that area of the chest.

When we’re talking about opening our heart, we’re not talking about open heart surgery, nor are we just making a figure of speech. Without us needing to know what’s actually going on anatomically and physiologically, we’re literally opening the heart’s energy centre so that it can feel more love. And we need to be able to feel what’s going on in our heart.

The degree to which we can feel love in our heart is determined by how open our heart is. Some of us already have a heart which is open, to some more or less degree, some of us have a closed heart. Some are said to have warm heart, or a heart of gold. If we’re going to feel more love, we have to have an open heart and a strong, warm heart energy.

How open do you feel your heart is? Can you feel your heart react? How readily does your heart melt in response to something that makes you feel love? How readily do you cry in response to something that affects you deeply, whether it makes you feel happy or sad?

However open your heart is, it’s possible for it to open more. The more open it is, the more love you can feel.

Consciously opening your heart

Consciously opening your heart is something you can do almost all the time. This can rapidly produce results, in the form of you feeling that your heart is opening.

Whenever you’re with another person you could be increasingly conscious of how it makes your heart feel. If you consciously think silently in your mind “I love you”, you’ll have a good feeling, centred in your heart. The more you do this the more you will be aware of your heart opening as part of the process of extending your love more.

Other ways of opening your heart are probably best left to your own personal inclinations or preferences.

For example, you could include thinking about or engaging with someone who makes you feel very loving. Indulging yourself in that feeling of loving enables you to feel your heart opening.

Also there are particular types of music that can make you feel very loving. These could pop music, perhaps ballads, in which it’s either the words or the music or both which can have a great effect on you.

There could name many singers and composers who you enjoying sitting down to listen to, or have playing in the background.

Some movies can have the same effect on you. You may get emotionally moved really deeply, and carry that feeling with you for some time afterwards.

Many people love music in a minor key. Music in a minor key evokes melancholy, longing and sadness. It stirs the love-sick heart, and stirs the sorrow.

Being in nature can open your heart. Even looking at the most common wildflowers, which can look so fragile and beautiful and yet so resilient to the weather and the seasons. Cultivated flowers too can be so beautiful as to open your heart. Roses, for example, the classic symbol of romantic love, their beauty and their fragrance can stir your heart deeply, and make you want to just gaze at them and enjoy the feelings you get. Even a photograph of a rose can be enough to make you think you can smell the scent of it wafting over you.

Doing things for people can easily open your heart. It can feel so good to do things for people.

What sort of things stir your heart? Can you spend more time indulging yourself in such things? You could make notes about the things you find stir your heart. You could make a habit of looking at the notes sometimes during the day, to prompt you to do something to stir your heart. Having a list of things will help you find something you can do there and then.

You may not be able to spend all your time opening your heart, but you could spend quite a lot more time than you do now. It’s so pleasurable that you might want to do it all time, and that should tell you something, maybe that you want your life to be more pleasurable, more heart centred. I suggest that you do it as much as you can and certainly not feel guilty about using your time that way. In fact I reckon it’s probably the best investment of time you can make. And how many of those people you love would object to being the focus of your love a little bit more?
